If you haven't used (or heard of) the Internet Advancement system, you can get more information here: http://www.longhorncouncil.org/Info/Advancement/Online-Advancement.aspx
A few things you can do with it are:
- You can view the Unit Roster
- You can print (temporary) membership cards
- You can see the BSA IDs (on the membership cards).
- Submit Advancement Reports Online (still need to sign and send in)
- View Advancement details including various reports (you can compare with your records with Council and National)
- Upload advancement reports from 3rd party software like Troop/Pack Master<
Reports are made available as PDF which can be saved to your local system and/or printed out.
Using the Internet Advancement also simplifies the Council's handling of the reports. Sometimes there is confusion on which youth is on the report vs the registered names (Twins James and John who go by Bubba and Hoss, for example).
