The new O.A. Leadership was elected on Thursday, January 3,2008. They have selected the following dates for the 2008 Arrow Of Light Ceremonies. The are as follows:
Febuary 9,2008 at 5:00 PM
March 15,2008 at 5:30 PM
April 5,2008 at 6:00 PM
May 24, 2008 at 6:30 PM

2008 Philmont International Scouting Trek |

Our newly formed Longhorn Council International Committee, chaired by Tom Lucas, has been sent information regarding an International Philmont Trek hosted by the International Division. Ten (10) Boy Scouts or Venturers from the US will have a chance to go to Philmont free and hike with Scouts from other countries, all expenses paid. It requires an essay to be submitted. The council will choose one entry to be submitted to the international division. |
